HARTFORD, CT, Oct. 3, 2025 – CareCentrix today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Haley Sofiane as the company’s new President, to succeed Chief Executive Officer Steven Horowitz, effective October 1, 2025. Sofiane will lead the company and will also join the CareCentrix Board of Directors upon assuming the role.
Sofiane has over two decades of leadership experience in the healthcare services industry, with deep expertise in organizational innovation, provider and product strategy, and business execution. She will shape the company’s long-term strategy and manage all operations while continuing to deliver best-in-class healthcare solutions.
On her appointment, Sofiane said, “I am truly honored to take on the role of President at CareCentrix and to guide the next chapter of our growth. Our organization has consistently set a high standard for home-based care by prioritizing patient outcomes, innovation, and operational efficiency. As we move forward, I am committed to advancing our mission of ensuring seamless, whole-person care for patients right where they are most comfortable—at home. Together with our talented team and valued partners, we will continue to deliver solutions that serve our clients, improve people’s lives, and transform the healthcare experience.”
Previously, Sofiane served as Chief Operating Officer of CareCentrix, demonstrating a deep understanding of the organization, its customers, and the opportunities to accelerate the company’s growth. She has held a variety of leadership positions, including Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management, during her nine years with the company. Read her full bio here.
Prior to CareCentrix, Sofiane spent fifteen years at Anthem, Inc. (now known as Elevance Health) in a variety of leadership roles, last serving as the enterprise Commercial and Government Programs Leader for Provider Experience and Insights & Analytics.
Sofiane also serves on the board of the Connecticut American Heart Association, the Executive Leadership Team for the Greater Hartford Go Red for Women campaign, and on various school and community committees.
Sofiane’s promotion to President follows the August announcement that CareCentrix is now a private, standalone company following acquisition by Sycamore Partners.
