Jennifer

Jennifer is a Nurse Coach in the Post-Acute Care Program and brings more than fifteen years of experience to CareCentrix.

Jennifer began her career at Orlando Health’s Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. At the second busiest labor and delivery unit in the country, she cared for high-risk patients through all stages of obstetrics. Jennifer transitioned to Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager contributing to a culture of nursing that demonstrated excellence in both nursing and patient care. The hospital received Magnet designation with the ANCC and Perinatal Care Certification with the Joint Commission.

Jennifer also spent 2 years collaborating with the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Quality Officer to implement quality and safety initiatives. In this role, Jennifer was responsible for facilitating progress towards board quality goals and fostering a culture of safety with leadership and physicians. During this time, she also co-chaired the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative PROVIDE project for Winnie Palmer Hospital to lower the primary cesarean section rates.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Central Florida.
