Dr. Paul Mikulecky is the Chief Medical Officer of CareCentrix, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare and business leadership. In his role, Dr. Mikulecky is responsible for guiding CareCentrix’s clinical vision, overseeing all aspects of Clinical Strategy and Operations.
Prior to joining CareCentrix, Dr. Mikulecky served as Chief Medical Officer for Carelon Health, a subsidiary of Elevance Health, where he oversaw the Advanced Primary Care and Palliative Care Divisions. Dr. Mikulecky has also held executive leadership roles at Humana in care management, utilization management, and population health, served as a senior partner in an independent hospitalist group, and as a primary care internist.
Dr. Mikulecky earned his medical doctorate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and holds a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration from University of Massachusetts Amherst.
