Joseph Van Leer is the Chief Legal Officer at CareCentrix, where he leads the company’s legal, risk management functions, government affairs, and regulatory strategy.

Joe brings nearly 15 years of deep expertise as a corporate healthcare attorney, advising Fortune 500 companies, health systems, and emerging healthcare organizations on complex legal, regulatory, and transactional matters. Prior to joining CareCentrix, Joe served as Managing Counsel at Walgreens, where he was instrumental in shaping the company’s healthcare strategy.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
