Cheryl is a Post-Acute Care Nurse Coach with over 25 years of nursing experience.
She has worked in various hospitals, including Manatee Memorial and Sarasota Memorial Hospitals, in telemetry units focusing on cardiac care. Afterward, she transitioned to working in home health as a case manager in Manatee County, managing her own territory of patients. Cheryl also spent eight years at the Manatee Surgical Center, providing perioperative care for patients undergoing surgery from initial assessment to postoperative experience.
For the last 14 years, Cheryl has supported her patients through telehealth in the managed care domain. She has a broad knowledge base in Medicare, including directly working for Health Plans, including Aetna and Humana.
Cheryl is a registered nurse and certified case manager with a bachelor of science in administrative management.
