Ethan Baumfeld

Baumfeld is an accomplished senior legal and regulatory operations executive who brings 20 years of experience to CareCentrix. As Chief Legal Officer, he leads the company’s legal function and has overall responsibility for legal strategy, litigation, and regulatory and governance matters. Ethan also serves as corporate secretary, supporting CareCentrix’s Board of Directors.

Before joining CareCentrix, Ethan was Divisional Senior Vice President & Chief Regulatory Officer at Health Care Service Corporation, the nation’s largest non-investor owned health insurer, where he successfully led the company through the dynamic legal and regulatory environment created by health care reform and transformed its regulatory implementation business function.

Prior to HCSC, Ethan held progressively larger legal roles at Health Net, Inc. (now part of Centene Corporation). He began his career at Aaronson Rappaport Feinstein & Deutsch, LLP., where he managed high-exposure litigation for domestic and international companies.

Ethan received his undergraduate degree in history from The George Washington University and his law degree from New York Law School.
