
A highly regarded leader in the healthcare industry, Steve is the former CEO of Magellan Health Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: MGLN). He spearheaded the company’s successful turnaround and restructuring out of bankruptcy, and diversification into the nation’s foremost specialty health care management company.
Steve also led Prudential Healthcare through its major turnaround while serving as the company’s chairman, president and CEO, culminating in the company’s successful sale to Aetna. Steve is the co-founder of Value Health, Inc., a NYSE managed care company specializing in behavioral health and prescription drug benefits. He also founded Internet HealthCare Group, an early stage health and technology venture fund. Previously, he held leadership roles at CIGNA and Kaiser Permanente.
Steve serves as the chairman of CareCentrix, and as a director of Access MediQuip, Broadlane, Digital Insurance, HealthMarkets and HealthPlan Holdings. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in health services administration from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Michael J. Anderson is a Principal with Summit Partners, a growth equity firm that invests in rapidly growing companies across many industry sectors. He joined Summit in 2005 and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office.
Michael is active in the firm’s investment activities in North America, and focuses primarily on the healthcare and life sciences sector. In addition to CareCentrix, Michael’s directorships and investments include National Veterinary Associates.
Michael worked for Danaher Corporation, Onex Corporation, Nassau Capital and Gleacher Partners prior to joining Summit Partners. He received an AB in economics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Peter J. Connolly is a Principal with Summit Partners, a growth equity firm that invests in rapidly growing companies across many industry sectors. He joined Summit Partners in 2004 and is based in the firm’s Boston office.
Peter is active in the firm’s investment activities in North America, and focuses primarily on the healthcare and life sciences sector. In addition to CareCentrix, Peter’s directorships and investments include Associa, Aurora Diagnostics and Bartlett Holdings.
Prior to joining Summit, Peter worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Deloitte. He holds a BBA, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA, with Distinction, from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Craig D. Frances is a Managing Director of Summit Partners, a growth equity firm that invests in rapidly growing companies. He joined Summit in 2003 and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office.
Craig is active in the firm’s investment activities in North America, Europe and Asia, and focuses primarily on the healthcare and life sciences sector. In addition to CareCentrix, Craig has served as a director of HealthCare Partners, National Veterinary Associates and Physicians Formula Holdings (NASDAQ: FACE).
Prior to Summit, Craig founded and managed three successful companies. He was also the Chief Medical Resident at the University of California, San Francisco. Craig holds a BA in psychology, with Honors, from Cornell University and an MD from Cornell University Medical College, where he was Valedictorian and received the Paul Sherlock Prize, a peer-voted award for exceptional integrity and compassion in patient care. He is the creator of the Saint-Frances Series, medical books that are used extensively in academic centers across the United States.
Craig has numerous publications in leading journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, and has collaborated with many national healthcare leaders. He also serves as an advisor to the Cornell University Trustees Investment Committee regarding private equity.

Eric Reimer was appointed chief executive officer of CareCentrix in 2008. Prior to joining CareCentrix, Eric led strategic development for Magellan Health Services, Inc. He spearheaded the company’s acquisition of National Imaging Associates (NIA), and transformed the $50 million business into a full-service radiology benefits management firm generating $300 million in annualized revenue. Eric was also instrumental in Magellan’s acquisition of ICORE Health Care, a specialty pharmaceutical business.
Prior to Magellan, Eric held executive positions with CIGNA Health Services and Prudential Healthcare. He also worked with Boston Consulting Group, and was a co-founder of Internet Healthcare Group, a $150M private equity fund.
Eric received his master’s degree in business administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Washington University.

Ned Villers is a partner with Water Street Healthcare Partners, a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on health care. A member of the founding team at Water Street, Ned has been involved in private equity for more than 10 years. He has completed transactions totaling more than $2 billion in health care and life sciences companies. Prior to Water Street, Ned was vice president at One Equity Partners, where he worked with the Water Street team on investments including Medex, Inc. and AbilityOne Corporation. He also served as a Vice President at Summit Partners, where he focused on investments in health care services.
Ned currently serves on the boards of directors of Access MediQuip, HealthPlan Holdings, and New Century Health. He also has invested in and served on the boards of AbilityOne, Medex, HealthCare Partners and Physiotherapy Associates.
He received his bachelor’s degree in public policy studies from Duke University and his master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
